Visceral Surgery

Visceral Surgery

Our clinic treats patients in all areas of general and visceral surgery. This surgery clinic focuses on treating malignant diseases of the digestive tract, including the pancreas, liver and bile ducts, as well as proctology of benign diseases.

Furthermore, the clinic specializes in minimally invasive surgery ("keyhole surgery"), wherein laparoscopic therapy of benign and malignant colon diseases and in particular rectal cancer are particularly important. The clinic also uses a "da Vinci" robot-assisted surgical system in suitable cases. Around 3,000 operations are performed each year. Learn more about the high-tech operating system here.
